Foundation Year (Preparatory Year)

Interview with a member of the school direction team and/or a pedagogic director. The candidate should present themselves, talk about their academic and personal experiences, their future professional projects and present any creative work that can support their candidature.

The Ecole Bleue has always provided the opportunity to all students who wish to discover the fundamentals of the creative process. It is not necessary to have mastered drawing skills to be a candidate, the key word is ‘motivation’.

To integrate the school, you must have obtained the Baccalaureate, or equivalent school graduation certification, and be at least 17 years old. Interviews by Skype can be arranged.

ADMISSIONS FORM

Global Design: Interior Design, Product Design, Graphic Design.

Year 1

Submission of candidat applications from January. Motivation interview and evaluation with a member of the school direction team and/or a pedagogic director.

The candidate will bring a motivation letter and a portfolio of creative work containing a maximum of elements, as varied as possible (sketchbooks, research work, models, photographs of models, colour work, interior design, plans etc.).

Interviews by Skype can be arranged.

ADMISSIONS FORM

Year 2 & 3

Motivation interview and evaluation with a member of the school direction team and/or a pedagogic director. The candidate will bring a motivation letter and his/her last school evaluations.

He/she will present an artistic portfolio illustrating his/her learning achievements and skills, to demonstrate their capacity to integrate a class by equivalence. This portfolio should at a minimum include: .

  • Interior Design projects (expression of the design concept, plans, sections, elevations, perspectives, photographs of models, research and reference notebooks, sketchbooks etc.)
  • Product Design projects, Graphic Design projects (research, sketches, drawings, perspectives, photos of models and or prototypes etc.)
  • Examples of drawings, paintings… an internship report if appropriate, copies of diplomas obtained.

Year 4 & 5

Admission is not possible in 4th Year (except in exceptional circumstances), nor in 5th Year.

Scenography: cultural, events, museums, theatre and opera

Year 1

The candidate will bring a motivation letter and his/her last school evaluations, a portfolio of creative work containing a maximum of elements, as varied as possible (sketchbooks, research work, models, photographs of models, colour work etc.).

  • A CV with list of software programs mastered.

Year 4

Admission is not possible in 4th Year.

Studies in the Scenography program open the opportunity for transfer to the Ecole Bleue Global Design program (interior design, product design & graphic design).
